This weekend Otto is Mr Party Animal, invited to attend three birthday parties, including bowling, disco and play centre... so while Pete was taking him to the first two (and fitting a run in the middle), Lili, Poppy and I went for a walk in Hagaparken....

Two more tunics for Poppy, very much inspired by her! The poppy fabric I found a couple of years ago as a remnant piece that caught my eye as another lady was looking at it in front of me. The lady turned out to be American, in Stockholm to visit her...

We were all a bit tired today, recovering from Lili's birthday "do" - ie 4 girls together over 18 hours at our place... involving a lot of laughter, giggles, waffles and pop music (it was the final of Melodifestivalen, Otto was actually more keen to watch...

Sew orange!
Look at this vintage beauty! I found it on Blocket (Swedish eBay equivalent) and bought it for a VERY reasonable price from a nice lady who came all the way to our street from Örebro to deliver it safely. We realised that her son worked in the school...

Incredible weather today, temperatures suddenly reaching over 15 degrees! So we took the chance to try out Poppy's new cross-country stroller - quite cool! We HAD to have an ice-cream, the first of the season :-)

Poppy, wild flowers and flamingos
Poppy was a tiger, and then Otto wanted to be a cat... meanwhile Poppy was trying on a new tunic - a combination of flamingos and flowers (buttercups coloured red, quite similar to poppies actually), which suited her quite nicely :-)
