Riding happy
This week is half-term break and Poppy is riding three times instead of one. She is just so happy :-) Today Lili and Otto came along and witnessed the beaming girl at work - irresistible!

A cheeky glimpse
Back from our run on Saturday morning we had a quick look at our house-in-progress... The latest news: the work on the facade has started, with a couple of meters of shingles being already nailed in. The concrete floor is taking shape too, should be polished...

Cycling round

Cycling round
-3 degrees yesterday, but + 7 today! It almost felt mild to cycle round Gällstaö today, as the sun was still shining a little. We enjoyed our ride, everyone managed to get over the hills, Poppy was encouraging Pete with her great big smile - she positively...

Bright steps

Bright steps
Waking up with bright light makes such a difference! Although it was still pretty cold - as the ice on the lake shows it - we enjoyed a long walk along the water, to Ekerö sommarstad. Let's hope the sunny weather stays around a bit, we need a bit of brightness...

About our abode
Latest news - all windows and skylights are in, the painters have started some work on a few walls, some tiles are being laid in the downstairs shower-room, the floor should soon be laid upstairs. The fireplace has been delivered, the kitchen is ordered....

To our meal on two wheels
Since there is no snow, we might as well cycle! It was fine enough...but it started snowing on our way home, typical! But we managed the ride back, took a little shortcut to ease the route. Lunch at Nykrog was lovely and cosy as usual. Word of mouth must...
