Going up
The builiding of walls to the top floor continues. We should have enough to put a roof on next week :-). Poppy likes our bbbbbiiiiiggggg kitchen window and we have a lovely sunlower growing from a pile of earth - a good sign, we think!

A lot has happened on our site this week: walls for the ground floor are all up and we also have a ceiling / floor to the next level! A huge crane came to lift the wood panels and then they got assembled little by little. The "house" is now all wrapped...

Royal concert

Royal concert
So seldom that I have to mention it: last night Pete and I went out! To a concert, at Drottninholm! It was the end of the 250th jubileum season at the royal palace, with Peter von Poehl of French-Swedish fame, in a collaboration with Drottningholm's baroque...

A view with a room
A quick stop on the way back from a cycle ride: the house is rising from the ground, slowly but surely :-) Otto and Poppy tried the cupboard in Otto's bedroom and then danced on the kitchen floor! Soon more to see...

Kärsödrag

Kärsödrag
One of our favourite walks: along the peninsula on the north side of Ekerö, all the way to the water. We had our picnic, lit a fire, grilled some marshmallows, had a dip (Otto) or a paddle (Poppy, Pete, Grand-mère). We found mushrooms (big shiny ones)...
