Lili's santas

So much snow, so little light...The Christmas season feels very near here! Yesterday Lili offered to take care of the creation of a "winter window" and got quite excited when we purchased a special kit to make colourful little santas. As soon as we got home and before anyone noticed what she was doing, she managed to paint, glue, sew and decorate out of the  bits of wood, wool, felt sheets and beads: the contents of the box was swiftly transformed into five little santas that now occupy a prime location in her "winter window".

All done on her own, amazing! - and very sweet!

Waow, what a lot of praise from Lili's grandparents! The artist is in bed now but she will no doubt be thrilled to hear that her creations received so much acclaim. Tonight before bedtime Lili wrote a book ("Spök boken", ie the book of ghosts) to give her teacher tomorrow. I wish I had half her spontaneous talent!

Tes Pères-Noël sont superbes!
Ici aussi il fait froid, il y a eu un peu de neige et il gèle (lègérement par rapport à chez vous), Grand-Mère rentre demain d'Italie et mardi à Dieppe, l'aller s'est bien passé et son séjour aussi.

J'ai aussi admiré le bonnet d'Otto!
