Leaves
Snow was still covering the ground when we (thankfully without any problem) reached England just before Christmas. It took a few days for it to melt down completely. Once this was done, it was time to rake off all the leaves that had been collecting on Grandma and Grandad's lawn over the previous weeks. Hard work but fun experience as well! Poppy was asleep but Otto and Lili lent helping hands (and feet) to gather the mountains of brown oak leaves and press them down the huge green bins - we filled something like 7 of them!
Healthy exercise in the festive season!
