Landet

Our weekend felt a bit like "one last summer escapade" - we were kindly invited to spend the two days at our friend Anna's parents' summer house in the countryside( "landet" in Swedish). It was not our first time there, but we realised that the last occasion was just 3 weeks before Otto was born...Quite a while then! 

We were extremely lucky with the weather and made the most of this lovely place by the water. Lili and Peter had a swim, Otto ran around a lot with Disa-Lili, Poppy with Tor and Lili with Oscar. At times, quite often, they all played together, jumping and giggling in the grass, looking at books, listening to stories, watching a film. These 6 (!) are real friends and it shows! There were also picnics, cups of tea, big meals for 10 (!), laughs, garden pursuits, apple and plum picking, and much more...

We even took advantage of the situation and anticipated Poppy's birthday (tomorrow!!!) a little - we all sang and ate chocolate (of course) cake together, yum!

Back at work/school today, it seemed we had had a long break and done so much. Time goes unnoticed when you have fun with your best mates, that's for sure ;-)
