Poppy is on holiday too

Poppy's end of school year ceremony also took place in a nearby church, a more modern one this time. We were all present, Lili and Otto even managed to sneakily get a place in the first row, to support their sister from closer :-)

A lot of clapping and happy wishes for the summer, a good deal of singing and back to the classroom for strawberries and ice-cream, yum!

Poppy wrote a thank you letter to each tutor and gave them each a poppy plant - they were very pleased and surprised, as Swedes tend to forget that Poppy actually means something in English. I guess not everyone is fluent in flower names in several languages!

Lovely to see all the things you have been up to over the last weeks. School ended, Otto 5 and Poppy looking so grown-up and Lili moving on to the next school up. Glad the weather is at last warming up and you can get out and "scooter" about! Weather still "mixed" here with sunny days and windy, wet days. However, we were lucky on Saturday, 8th with nice sunshine for our Golden Wedding Anniversary Party cruise along the Thames. A good time was had by all and we were just sorry that you could not be with us for our super evening...but looking forward to our Spanish holiday together...Love from Rosemary & Stuart/Mum & Dad/Grandma & Grandad XXxxx
