Out with the ducks

It was pretty soft underfoot, due to the copious amount of rain we got over the last few nights. But the walk from Överjärva to Ulriksdals slott was pleasant enough, through the woods and not far from the water. When we stopped for our picnic (the weather is so mild, about 10 degrees in early November, amazing!) half a dozen ducks rushed out of the lake and the reeds straight towards us - they sensed that there might be a few crumbs to be grabbed from our sandwiches. How right they were!

But what they soon also discovered was that we had a keen duck chaser among us, i e Poppy, who really wanted to catch one of these feathered creatures. She nearly did as well :-)
