Lovö

Ekerö is an island, surrounded by a lot of other islands! Today we walked around Lovö, not so far from Drottningholm, but away from the visitors to the Royal castle. In fact we hardly met anyone, but rambled through woods, fields, up and down big rocks, near the water, across meadows. So nice! We spotted a sea-eagle, found more blueberries and raspberries and promised ourselves we would come back for wild sloes (after the first frost) and lily-of-the-valley (next spring). Exciting to discover new places and amazing walks!

I see you are loving Lovo!! It certainly seems as if you have been discovering lots of lovely new places to investigate! I think, also, you have pinched our weather!!
