Spagetti - det har du ratt i

As a slightly belated birthday celebration we took Lili and seven of her friends to the theatre on Saturday. The play was called "Spagetti - det har du ratt i" and was inspired by Lennart Hellsing, a famous children's book writer who celebrates his 90th birthday this year. Great fun, quite mad, absurd and poetic, it suited us quite well. Everybody seems to have enjoyed the occasion and laughed a fair amount, which is what we were after.
And no flat to tidy up in the end, yippee!

Glad you enjoyed the theatre outing - it sounds as if it was good fun. We have been entertaining Italian students this week - organised by Kaitlin's school - and we all played "Top Golf" on Sunday morning, had some lunch out, then had tea in our garden and played badminton on the lawn. It was warm and sunny! In the evening we had a meal together with the students, Linda, Mark, Kaitlin and Molly at the Red Lion in Horsell. The students return to Bologna today, so back to our more peaceful lifestyle!
