Birds and wire

The day Lili created her intellectual-looking spectacles, we had originally got the thin silver wire out in order to make a bird cage. Another of my strange ideas, actually inspired by a couple of cages seen in Liberty's of London during the summer.
After a few hours of twisting and turning (very irregular...) pieces of the soft metal, I finally put together something that resembles (a bit) an old-fashioned (and very wonky!) bird cage.
Lili had followed the project with one idea in mind - that the cage would in the end host her origami birds. So this is what happened...of course!
