Smudgy

Poppy and Otto's nursery was closed on Friday so we had to find ways of keeping ourselves amused. Not necessarily in a neat and tidy way though. So we did a bit of painting... We started off by using big fat foamy stamps shaped as animals or plants. Soon the shapes produced on paper disappeared under thickly and vigorously applied brush-strokes. In the end, most of the colors got smudged by hand. Quite scary and messy to watch but the final product was fairly jolly, I thought!

Otto's piece became two as he unstuck it from the table, unfortunately... Might look good framed as it is, in fact?
