Coy carps and new friends
The weekend has gone pretty quick, as always, but not at all as planned - well, nothing was really planned, but if it had been, it would not have been so, as we spent a good chunk of time with friends that we did not know just three days ago!
To cut a long story short, we have met Hélène and Ralph, parents to Emile and Soline, who started playing with Lili and Otto in our common courtyard and then got invited in by our expert-at-socialising children. An unusual family, like us, Swiss-German but living in Spain...it was easy to find topics of (multilingual) conversation! As they are in Stockholm for only two more days, we decided to take them to Hagaparken for a leisurely walk. Impossible not to go via the Butterfly House, said Lili, so we abided. Not so many butterflies to spot but quite a good number of not-so-coy carps which allowed everyone to stroke them.
A very pleasant day. It is always great to make new friends!
