Skeppsholmen

Today we spent our Sunday on Skeppsholmen, the museum island. We had no real plan but to wander a bit and maybe go to the Östasistiska museet, but in the end we stopped for lunch on the af Chapman sailing boat - nowadays converted into a Youth Hostel and café, and pursued our walk round the island. Nothing very eventful in itself but we still found a castle, torpedoes, a ship-yard and lots of old style wooden boats, enough to entertain a family party of 6 (since Grand-mère is with us this week).

...red, yellow and blue, worn by The Banks' family, helped to cheer up a rather grey-looking day! Glad you are still enjoying the great 'outdoors' before it gets really cold! I am sure "Grand-mere" is enjoying herself and being a "Grand-help", too!! Love to all from Rosemary & Stuart
