Solvändan

Not a very eventful weekend, really, but we discovered a new lekpark in the neighbourhood - Solvändan, just behind S:t Eriksplan. The little hour we spent there was enough to make us realise that winter had nearly reached us, with temperature going under zero for the first time for months! Dire need of gloves and thick socks became obvious to all of us.

On Sunday it was Swedish Father's Day. We all went for a naughty hot-chocolate and cakes in Gamla Stan, as again the cold weather influenced us. Darkness and cold are creeping in, it's official all of a sudden. Time for homemade fruitcakes and other comforting treats. It could be worse, hey!

...sorry to 'rub it in' but we have had another glorious, sunny day here and temperatures actually reached 17c today!! I am sure it won't last and we shall soon be into Winter, like you. Glad you still managed to get out and about and enjoy yourselves, anyway.
