So British

So British indeed, Hampton Court...on a breezy Sunday afternoon between Christmas and New Year. So much too see! We had planned to go in the famous maze but did not make it in time before sunset, at which time it is no longer accessible (probbly a sensible thing, really). But we enjoyed it nevertheless.

This little outing was one of the few excursions we attempted between the bouts of wet wet wet weather which swept England over the last two weeks . Soggy underfoot, that's for sure...

Thank you again, Grandma and Grandad for having us all for all this time - the house must have returned to a more peaceful and quiet rythm no that we are gone :-)

Hi, a bit tough to get back to the grindstone here...Stockholm feels cold and dark still, but it is only a matter of weeks before the light comes back (or so we try to convince us). We had a really good time in England, we all feel we had pretty much the break we needed after a long autumn term. To divert our magination a little, we are currently looking into our flights for the summer - something to look forward to!

Good luck with the house chores and let's hope W and G make the most of our departure...XXxxx

Nice to see the pix of Hampton Court! House almost back to normal...the washing machine and tumble dryer have been working overtime since you left. The house seems very quiet but Wallace and Gromit are relieved, I think! It was lovely to have you all and we thoroughly enjoyed our time together. Love to all and a happy and healthy New Year!XXxxx
