Winter fun

It is winter, for real, here: -18 degrees when we woke up yesterday morning, and a lot of snow that has been falling over the last few days. Today the temperature had risen a bit so sledging was more realistic. We went to Hagaparken, a bus ride from home and well worth it! Beautiful! Fantastic slopes, wonderful white landscape, even the lake had been ploughed and could be crossed on foot. Great when we feel we can make the most of winter, with days getting longer and the sun shining. Bright eyes and red cheeks, tired legs for everyone, the afternoon went in a flash!

Oooooh - minus 18 degrees!! So glad you all managed to enjoy the snow and sledging despite the temperatures. It was around freezing here yesterday and we still have a couple of inches of snow, although it now seems to be thawing a little in the weak sunshine. Travel chaos, of course, with planes, trains and roads causing problems....Speak soon.
