As time goes by...

Summer came and went, woosh... and we are back to school, that time of year when everything is a bit hard at first and slightly gets better, little by little (we hope!). Back to early morning starts and military (almost) routines, tricky logistics and elaborate planning. So far, we have 7 outside-school activities to juggle, to get 3 children to and from on six different days...

But the end of August is also an important moment for our family, as it signals the celebration of our amazing Poppy! 7! Already! 

This year's birthday was a bit special as we organised a little party for Poppy's class, where we also invited the teachers and Grand-mère! It was very cosy and full-on at the same time, and everyone enjoyed it very much.

Have only just seen the Birthday photos. What a lovely reminder of a happy but hectic day. I know that Grand-mere excelled herself in helping with everything as well as making hats for all the teachers!! I am sure Pops and everyone had a super time. And even Grandad and I managed to "be" there for a few minutes to sing Happy Birthday.
